Policies and FAQ




Payment: All payments must be made through Paypal. Paypal does not require that you open a Paypal account in order to make a payment. Maryland residents will be charged 6% sales tax.






Shipping:  Orders for available items will ship within two business days.  Custom orders will ship within 10 business days.  All domestic orders will be shipped by  Priority Mail, with tracking and insurance.  International orders will be shipped by first class international mail.  Within the 48 contiguous states, shipping is $5.50 for the first item and $1.00 for each additional item.  Shipping to Canada is $5.50 for the first item and $1.00 for each additional item.  Shipping to all other countries is $10.00 for the first item and $2.00 for each additional item.  If your country is not listed, please let me know.  Unfortunately, tracking is not available on international orders.

Packaging: In order to avoid waste, I will often reuse boxes that I have on hand. Do not be surprised if your Zazzy Peacock order arrives in an Amazon box! Quoted shipping prices are based on average shipping costs across the United States using the smallest boxes, so reuse of boxes will not impact your shipping costs (although it may cost me a little extra).  Depending on the items, items will come in a jewelry box, an organza bag or a velvet bag.



Return Policy:

I want all of my customers to be satisfied customers. If you are not happy with your purchase, and you think I can help, please contact me. If there’s nothing I can do to help, you may return the item to me in its original condition within two weeks of receipt for a refund of your full purchase price, not including shipping fees. 

 Returns will not be accepted after two weeks. All refunds are issued through PayPal, or through Square if you bought an item in person at a show.



Repair and Replacement Policies:

 I stand behind the quality of my work and offer free repair for all felted jewelry items for ten years from the date of purchase. You pay only to ship the item to me and my shipping costs to send it back to you.  If the damage is caused by a product defect, rest assured that I will pay for the shipping costs and do everything I can to make you happy.  Please contact me about the needed repair before you ship your jewelry.  If possible, please use a shipping method that provides insurance and a tracking number and email me with that information.

This free repair policy does not apply to items that are severely damaged beyond repair (i.e., the dog chewed on it or it got run over by a car). It also does not cover lost items. However, I do have a Replacement Policy:  If a piece of jewelry is lost or destroyed, and you need it for a matching set, I will make a replacement piece for the same price originally paid (or half for just one earring). Who hasn’t lost a favorite earring and wished they could find a replacement?
